Regular servicing is essential to maintain the safe and efficient operation of all gas boilers and fires. Servicing is required annually in most cases, and as well as ensuring the appliance is operating safely, servicing helps to prolong the life of the appliance and keep it running efficiently. It also provides an oppertunity to replace worn parts or seals before they fail.

It is usually a condition of gas appliance manufacturer’s guarantees, and of some insurance policies, that appliances are serviced annually and a record of the service is retained. All our servicing is done in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions and we issue a service record on completion that can be used to show compliance.

As well as checking and cleaning of the appliance, all our services also include an examination of any flues, and in the case of fires also of any catchment area to ensure they are clear.

We keep a record of all installations and servicing we undertake and we will remind you when a service is due. If you are a Landlord we can also contact your tenants on your behalf to arrange servicing appointments, and complete them at reduced cost at the same time as Landlords Gas Safety Checks.
